NUR-SULTAN, June 27, 2019 - In accordance with the charter of the Adaldyk Alany Project, signed on May 31, 2019, the Adaldyk Alany project office recently commenced operations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This body is aimed at eradicating petty corruption and increasing the trust of citizens in state authorities.
The implementation of the project is scheduled for 2019-2020. The supervisor of the project office is the Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nurlan Seytimov. The head of the project office is the Ethics Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Igor Mussalimov. The office is located at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, room 148. The office will conduct projects in three distinct areas: the consular service, public procurement, and investment. In addition to this, the office will implement activities to ensure transparency, promote the Foreign Ministry's anti-corruption work, and develop an anti-corruption culture amongst the workforce. An administrative group will run operations at the project office. This will be led by the Deputy Chairman of the International Information Committee of the Foreign Ministry, Aybek Smadiyarov.
