Brussels audience enjoys songs written by the great Kazakh poet Abai

BRUSSELS, October 11, 2019 - The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brussels hosted a concert of classical music performed by our talented compatriots and stars of Kazakh Art - Honored worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, winner of numerous awards of the  international competitions, Opera and chamber singer Azamat Zheltyrguzov and a laureate of national and international competitions, pianist Aigerim Mataeva.

Azamat is an Honorary academician of the European Academy of Natural Sciences (Hanover), a laureate of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan
 N.A.Nazarbayev, winner of the «Daryn» state youth and the CIS Commonwealth of Debuts awards and also a Professor of the Department of Vocal Arts of the Kazakh National University of Arts and Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

Aigerim has also participated in many international competitions, performed concerts and workshops. After receiving a government scholarship "Bolashak", she continued her musical education in Paris. Today Aigerim is a piano professor at the Paris Scriabin Conservatory and Chairwoman of Kazakh cultural center "Korkyt" in France.

The audience of the unforgettable concert were representatives of EU institutions, diplomatic corps, business circles of Belgium, Kazakh students and Embassy staff attended the unforgettable concert and enjoyed a wide panorama of piano and chamber music of Kazakh and European composers.
