The Ambassador of Kazakhstan presented credentials to the President of India

NEW DELHI, October 3, 2019 - At the Rashtrapati Bhavan Presidential Palace, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of India Yerlan Alimbayev presented his credentials to President of India Ram Nath Kovind.

In the course of the meeting held after the event, President Ram Nath Kovind expressed his gratitude to the Kazakh diplomat for holding the ceremony in Hindi and congratulated him on the beginning of his diplomatic mission, and also emphasized the trustful nature of relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Yerlan Alimbayev informed the President of India about measures taken in Kazakhstan to modernize the economy and improve the social sphere, as outlined in the first State of the Nation Address of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

In addition, the sides discussed a number of relevant issues, including the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as cultural and humanitarian interaction between two countries.
